Growing up in DC I played a wide range of sports, and ultimately had the opportunty to play baseball at Rhodes College. After my two year stint on the team I transitioned from my role as an athlete to the teams strength and conditioning coach. While at school I also created a student organization, LynxFit, with the goal of creating a healthier campus community. We laid the foundation of this community by offering group workouts 3 times a week, bringing in local healthcare professionals to speak to students on how they can improve their health and wellness, and raising funds to upgrade the campus gym.
I have experience training athletes of all types from the weekend warrior to professional athletes and everyone in between. I spent my 2013 summer interning at Athletes’ Performance (now EXOS) at the Andrews Institute for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, where I learned a lot about sports performance training and worked with NBA and NFL athletes with off-season training regimens, the National Argentina Rugby team, and elite tactical athletes.
In addition to my athletic background I have competed at the University National level in Olympic weightlifting as well as the St. Jude marathon.
